Windows/Linux hosting/XAMPP or something else? Single or Multisite installation?

– Deactivate BuddyPress
– Download/installation may have been corrupted. So download the zip file of the BuddyPress plugin at https://buddypress.org/download/ or https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/buddypress/ .Unzip in your computer and manually re-upload via FTP/cpanel/filemanager, etc to wp-content/plugins/
– Activate BuddyPress

Parent domain is showing the buddypress installation wizard but not in subdomains

What do you mean those weren’t saved?
Have you checked wp-admin Pages > All Pages?
Are your Settings > Permalinks set to other than the default permalink?
