Installed Buddypress on subdomain, now ”domain.com” (no www) directs to subdomain instead of main si

    @fredmcnasty

    My main site is “www.domain.com” but after the install of buddypress, “domain.com” (without WWW) directs to the subdomain where i have the buddypress theme. I would like both “www.domain.com” and “domain.com” to direct to my main site and not to the subdomain.

    Initially the buddypress pages were being written to my main site and was not functioning correctly. For example, buddypress members page was directing to “www.domain.com/members” when it should have been directed to “www.buddypress.domain.com/members”

    I did some research and added this to my wp_config.php file:
    “define ( ‘BP_ROOT_BLOG’, $blog_id );” and added the correct id number.

    After this change, the buddypress pages were directing correctly to the subdomain. As the example above “www.buddypress.domain.com/members” which is what I needed.

    However, the “domain.com” redirecting to subdomain issue started after adding in that line to the wp_config.php file. I need both “www.domain.com” and “domain.com” to direct to my main site. Can someone help me out?

    This seems like it would be an easy fix but im not sure how to go about it.
