    @johnyumnam

    I am getting

    1) a “504 Gateway Time-out” error on my site while trying to register a new user, but i do get the email to activate the account.

    2) when i click on the activation link that directs me to the activation link page an “invalid activation key” or “504 Gateway Time-out” error is displayed

    My WP version is 5.2.2 and my buddypress version is 4.3.0 and the url of my site is http://www.enlightopedia.net

    Please help

    Hi, Could you check Settings -> BuddyPress -> Pages tab, what page do you have Activate set to, if you open that page that is linked in a browser that is not logged in does it load correctly? It should show a box to enter the key manually when visited directly I believe.

    I have set the Activate page to the default activate page, I’ve also tried opening that page in incognito mode seem like its working fine there and yes it showed up with a box to enter the key manually as you mentioned

    Might be worth trying again as when I was trying your site earlier I could only see the header/footer but not the ‘Activate your Account’ etc. I can now see the box as expected so hopefully things will work

    Yeah i have gone through it and noticed that i have two Active pages one with a slug of activate-2, so i have deleted that one but still i have the same “504 Gateway Time-out” error. On the other hand there are user entries on the back-end of my site but I could not logged in with the credentials as it prompts me that “the user is already logged in”. Thanks you very much for help once again
