Is anybody really using BuddyPress?

Given the problems I have been having I just wondered if anyone is really using this for a live website or is it really just of idle interest (if one has the time to spare)?

Yes plenty are using it on production sites, doesn’t mean though that there isn’t work involved in getting/keeping it running, WP/BP may work out the box but that’s only the beginning of things and issues are a fact of life with any application.
