Greetings, and thank you in advance for your insight and advice.

I need to create a professional association membership site. The site will be a public means of finding a qualified service provider from the association.

I have to provide the following features –

    – Members will be able to purchase 1 of 3 different membership levels.
    – The process for a member to join the site and create their own bio, profile, and portfolio needs to be completely self-serve.
    – They will receive more or less public exposure based on the membership level they purchase (i.e. a “Platinum” level member will be grouped with the other Platinum members and their group will be placed above lesser group members (i.e. gold or silver) in search results, and on the master browsing list.
    – The main page of the site will allow visitors to browse a list of all members, and then click on a member’s name to be taken to that member’s profile, bio, and portfolio.
    – Visitors will be able to search for members (using key words) to return search results with all the members who are relevant to the keyword search.
    – We will need to categorize members based on a number of pre-set category check boxes.

If Buddypress is capable of delivering this set of functionality, please advise us on what themes/plugins we should utilize to accomplish the desired functionality.

Thank you to anyone who can offer advice on this matter.

    Best,
    Charlie P.
