Is it possible to use a traditional forum with buddypress instead of bbpress or would it not integrate well ?

or is it possible to make bbpress work like a traditional forum with plugins, with the easy to read/find theards, read/unread posts, polls, moderation features, Reputation, rating, User Promotions
position (admin, mod, ext) Warning System, ext.

not sure why you say bbpress is not traditional it has plugins and works basically the same as any other forum. i have not had much luck in the past (granted it was 2 years ago) integrating other site wide forum software with buddypress

Because traditional forums, have a lot more features to them take mybb for example.
