is simplepress fully integrated with buddypress?any issues?

Hi all,
I was reading about simple press forum, and beside the fact can be integrated with buddypress, I saw simple press has many more features than bbpress.
I need a classic forum, nothing special, but bbpress doesn’t have emoticons, no sharing buttons, no upload images live into the posts, while simple press have all these basic features or have plugins for that.
What I’d need to know if anyone know any problems having simple press with buddypress.
I want to add I don’t need groups in my website: I just need a forum, but having also buddypress it’s all more functional and elegant, so I’d really prefer having both.
Any replies will be very appreciated.
