Issues with new version

    Thanks to all involved with the new version of Buddypress (released minutes ago,) however, I encountered two problems with it, which may or may not be isolated to my setup:

    1) bp_is_active seems like it’s gone? There was a fatal call to it in my child theme’s functions.php

    2) There was another issue with a core function.. but I forgot what it was. I’m going to revert back to the previous version for now. Please let me know if anyone else can shed light on bp_is_active becoming defunct – I didn’t see any mention of that in the release notes.

    There wasn’t any changes to bp_is_active().

    Can you visit your server’s error log and paste the full entries?

    Thanks for your reply.

    After reverting back to the previous version, I installed the update again, prepared to take notes, but this time, it worked flawlessly. Weird!

    I reverted back to the previous version, and installed the update again.

    This time, it worked without any problem.
