JPG display in posts

Hi all, I’m trying to create a site for my students to upload homework to in the form of a JPG. I would like them to be able to Upload the JPG in a way that is “idiot proof” and have it display in their reply to my homework forum posting.

Posting links to images currently just shows the links. And I haven’t been able to find a plugin that will allow that.

I’ve installed the BP album plugin, but that is overkill for what I need. I really want students to simply click on an attach image button and have that attached image displayed in their post.

Is there a way to do this?

    thanks!

The forum will understand HTML, with a simple “img src” you can display the picture in the post.

Ok, that is a really good workaround, the problem now is that my students are not that clever. I don’t mean to bad mouth them, but If it can’t be done without thinking, they are not going to be able to do this on a regulare basis.

is there plugin that will automatically parse a URL that links to an image? or even an “insert image” button?

    thanks!

I did some more digging on WordPress, and what I’m looking for is something like the “Comment Toolbar” plugin. It doesn’t work in buddypress though. :(

That would be perfect if it did.
