Latest Update results in site logging the user out when Activity page is set to home page

    I want to utilize the Activity page as our home page, however now with the newest Buddypress updated, if the user is logged into the site and leaves the home page then returns to the homepage., they become logged out.

    Any suggestions?

    I have tested this issue on a mature site and a newly built site with few plugins. Same results.
