Layout & Sidebar Issues

The layout is all jacked up when I view the page where I’ve installed buddy press. Here’s a look at the forum http://patrickhitches.com/forums/ I can’t seem to figure out how to align the text box components to make for a more fluid looking forum.

Also, The sidebar is giving me all kinds of issues. What “Page Layout” do you use on the forum pages to have the proper site layout in the buddy press. Do you use “Full Width” “Default” or “BuddyPress Activity Directory”?

@patrickhitches you can use your theme’s full width page layout if you have one for your forums.

As for layout, looks like there’s a conflict with your theme’s table styles with that of the bbPress forums styles. In upcoming BP 1.6/bbPress 2.1, you can opt for the default “table-less” layout in forums settings..

Use/install Firebug with Firefox to ID and change the styles of respective widths of forum elements

@mercime – I’ve installed Firebug and I’m trying to source the issue. How exactly do I go about finding the table dimension and then make the changes? This “may” be outside of my technical skills. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

BuddyPress and bbPress are not active in your installation.
