Like Button

    Hi, I would like to add a like button to buddypress activity posts, the only plugin I can find for this is https://wordpress.org/plugins/buddypress-like/ When installed it crashes my site and i have to remove it via cpanel. Can anybody help please

    You should report the problem you’re having on the plugin’s GitHub repo and hopefully they’ll be able to issue a fix.

    If the go to the GitHub for this plugin, there is a development version you can download from there that works. Not sure why the author has not updated the version on WordPress.

    Another option you might like to look at is WP Ulike, this is a like function that works on WP Posts, Buddypress Activity and also bbpress topics. so It’s got wider appeal.

    I’ve just tested WP ULike and it seems to work fine, you have to setup the buddypress and bbPress side of things but thats easy enough
