“Like” Button

Hi all,

I currently have the “buddypress like” button ( http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/buddypress-like/ ) installed on my site: http://www.threemenandasite.com
It currently works quite nicely but I have been looking at integrating it into my posts a bit better. You can currently like a post from the activity stream but it would be nice to do it from within the actual post. It would also be nice to integrate it in other places, such as the comments etc.
Development seems to have stopped on this particular plugin so I was wondering the following. Has anyone been able to do as I have described by modifying this plugin? If not then does anyone know of a different plugin which does this? And again, if not then it would be awesome to see these features added to INFINITY.

Hey Mike, you posted this a while ago, but hopefully this helps you or someone else who may be looking for this. Where you want to display the like button anywhere in your theme, put:

How can I Style or make a button for the like plugin since for me it shows only the text like.
