    Hi there,
Is there any way or plugin to this in buddypress:

A member can max start ONE group
This group is limited to max 40 members
The same user can be member in different 40user-groups

    This is not a quizze:-)

Thank you so much for your help!
    Marco

BuddyDev is planning on releasing a plugin as you can see in the link below but it has not been released as of yet but you may want to keep an eye out for when it is. Also not sure if it will be premium or a freebie release.

What bphelp said for limiting members for groups. BuddyDev also has a Limit Groups per User http://buddydev.com/buddypress/limit-groups-per-user-plugin-for-buddypress/

Wonder if @sbrajesh would consider merging the plugin being developed with the one you linked to above. I think it may save a little confusion for the users if they had both of those options in one convenient plugin. Anyway, it is just a thought. Either way it will be great!

    Hi Ben,
What I am doing with the Limit Members Per group plugin is as follows:-

    1. Give Site Admins options to set a limit and then allow him to give the Group admins flexibility to choose the number.
    2. If the option to allow groups admins select their own limit is enabled, It will use specific settings per group otherwise the global configuration will be used.

Do you think merging this with Limit groups per user plugin will be a good Idea? I believe they serve different purpose but I am open to merge if you all think so 🙂

PS: And just to clarify, the upcoming plugin is Free not premium.

Another awesome freebie! Thank you again Brajesh! As I stated before it is just a thought so either way I am thrilled. My concern is I think some new users may get confused between the two plugins because some users (not all) do not bother reading the full description or even the installation instructions and if it was merged it might save a few support requests because you have all the goodies rolled into one awesome plugin. If you decide otherwise it will still be awesome. Thank you! @mercime Sorry if I got off topic. My apologies!
