Linking a Post to a Member

    @amlichner

    I am trying to accomplish a few things and really need some help. First I need to be able to have two different types of members.

    #1 A basic viewer who will setup an account on their own.
    #2 A Contributor or Company that I will need to be able to setup an account for without them, initially. My goal for the #2 member is to take them and make a Directory of Quilters and Quilt Shops out of them.

    I am assuming I need to create two member groups, but how to I add members on my own, without them actually signing up?

    Next I will be creating posts that will have information pertaining to a #2 member. Id like to be able to connect all the posts about them to their profile page. So when viewing the post you can click to view their profile, or while viewing their profile see a list of posts about them.

    The best example of what I am trying to do with a #2 Member is like this …http://siteinspire.com/directory
    They have a directory of web designers, and when you click on a directory listing, you can see all the work that this web designer has posted on siteinspire.

    The best example of what I am trying to do with a #1 Member is also like site inspire, you can create an account, and then save your favorite sites to collections in your account so you can keep track of your favorites.

    Any direction and help would be greatly appreciated!
