Member custom profile page

    Hi,

I don´t know if I post this in the correct section but, currently I´m looking for a plug-in that is able to have users (members) create their own custom page.

For example a member clicks on edit profile and he/she gets a editor field where he/she can add her/his own custom text/images and choose font type/size etc. Then when the user is finished and clicked saved a non-member person can go to my website open a member´s profile and see what he/she has created.

I hope you guys understand me. My main question is:

Does somebody know if there is a plug-in that can do that?

If not: What file´s (Buddypress file´s) do I need to create it my self? (I´m able to program in PHP)

    Thanks,

    Mike

    hi there

Well, currently Buddypress allows users to change the text/their images(gravatar) etc. So most of the thing you want is already there.

For your second question, I don’t think there is a plugin which allows selecting font size/color, so this is something which you will not get out of the box.

You may want to take a look at Boone’s plugin tinyMCE for Buddypress. That allows posting rich text data.

    Thank your for the response!

I’ve managed to find a way to achieve this by creating pages and let users have their own permissions on each page.

    But one more question:

Can you tell me if it is possible to let the users NOT go in the wp-admin after clicking the ‘edit-page-link’ but stay on the current page but with a text-area in it?

If this is possible I’m finished! :D

    Does somebody know how?

    I hope so,

    Gr Mike
