Member Directory Defaults to Most recent activity but I want alpha

    Hi

    Is there away to
    a. ensure that the Member Directory page always starts in the alpha listing
    b. remove options from the drop down menu (ie sorting by most recent acivity is not relevant or helpful on my site and I would like to remove that possibility).

    Thanks for any suggestions.
