member read only

    Hello,

    I use Buddypress for an intranet. I want to create an useraccount with only the possibility to read.

    I tried some rolemamagement-plugins but that did not work.

    After hours of trying I will ask here if anyone knows if it’s possible. Or maybe have another solution to create a read-only memneraccount.

    Hi,

    When you say “read only”, what specifically do you want to prevent them from doing?

    thanks for your reply

    I want specific users to read documents and posts in the activitystream. Like a spectator. Also after login go to the homepage. I deleted the plugin buddy-redirect but no succes

    There are lot of members with the subcriber-role, therefore that role must not be changed.
    Some one asked me for help with this, but I thinks it is just not possible.
