Member to member notifications sent to admin

I don’t know if this is typical but I (admin) receive email notifications that are sent between users. They appear in my Sent folder. Is that normal? I use WP Mail SMTP plugin in connection with G Suite. I don’t want to receive these emails as they are not notifications for me, and they take up a lot of space and I have to clear them out, also potential privacy issue. How to stop them altogether?
For example this type of notification:
[{{{site.name}}}] New friendship request from {{initiator.name}}or
[{{{site.name}}}] New message from {{sender.name}}
If there is a filter to be applied somewhere, please advise.
