Member to member notifications sent to admin

    Hello

    I don’t know if this is typical but I (admin) receive email notifications that are sent between users. They appear in my Sent folder. Is that normal? I use WP Mail SMTP plugin in connection with G Suite. I don’t want to receive these emails as they are not notifications for me, and they take up a lot of space and I have to clear them out, also potential privacy issue. How to stop them altogether?

    For example this type of notification:
    [{{{site.name}}}] New friendship request from {{initiator.name}}

    or

    [{{{site.name}}}] New message from {{sender.name}}

    If there is a filter to be applied somewhere, please advise.

    Well, if anyone has this issue as well. I resolved it by creating several filters in Gmail to send all those notifications in Sent folder that start with “You have a friendship request” or “You have a new message” to Trash directly. I read all my emails in Mac mail but I managed the settings in G suite mail and now cleared my Sent from thousands and thousands of emails.

    Thank goodness, you already solved the problem. Just beware of spams, block them immediately or unsubscribe
