Hi, Im a new user of Buddy press and just had it installed on my site. All seems fine but im not able to find a way to allow members to post a blog.
I decided to use BP instead of Elgg because it was more robust and community oriented yet i can – as a member of someones elgg site – post a blog.

If anyone can tell me where to find the settings or how to activate posting for members please let me know…my community will be content driven and i need them to post!

Not quite sure what you want;
a) users able to publish a post in (single WP site) – just make default role of those who register as “Author
OR
b) users able to create blogs and publish posts (WP multisite) – you need to create a network first https://codex.wordpress.org/Create_A_Network
