    @joeaj111

    I have the latest versions of both BP and WP. I have 66 users in my list but only 62 are displaying. the ones not showing are no different than role. Any Ideas of why only some show?

    They will be users who have registered but have not actually been active on the site yet. The display of members depends on them having a time since last active, if they have never been active they will not get displayed.

    oe member just logged in after not being on in a long while but still says “not recently active” How do I show them as active if the plugin doesn’t. Some members have been inactive longer but show.

    Yes those should definitely show up, I’ve got members in my directories not shown up in years and they still display, they are bottom of the list

    Have you ruled out the usual suspects? other plugins and/or theme?

    I took this site over from another person so it may be one of those two. They had the list displayed on homepage using [bp_members] I have no idea what plugin that is from. it only shows new members now. I’m trying to find it.

    I’ve not checked but could it be from BuddyPress Shortcodes?

    uddypress shortcodes is installed I looked and [webim_members_grid title=”Alphabetical” type=”alphabetical” col=”4″ count=”6″] is the shortcode which doesn’t work right either. I am trying to display themm in a 12X6 grid on each page.It is that way on members page but not all members show http://fighting.net/members/

    Could it be a shortcode that came with the theme? Either that or it’s a premium plugin I’ve not heard of.

    I found that [bp_members] is from the theme creator.

    Is there a way to list my members in a grid form in the middle of my hompepage with thumbnail pics? I’ve only been able to list them on the members page.

    Thanks

    One way to do this would be to build the page using a suitable page builder such as Siteorigin and then insert the Members Widget into the area of your choice.

    You’ve been a lot of help. I don’t know if I need to start a new thread for a somewhat different topic but I want to customize the look of the profile page and members page but i don’t know where the templates are located.

    I’m using visual composer so how can I insert the Members Widget into the area of I need and not just into a sidebar widget?

    @venutius

    You need to look into setting up a template overload of the files that create those pages:

    Theme Compatibility & Template Files

    I’ve not used visual composer, only siteorigin so far, with site origin you create a grid of columns and rows and you can insert any widget into any Page Builder block

    When someone registers it is no longer sending activation emails. is there a place to check why?

    @venutius

    It’s likely to be a plugin conflict
