Members not showing up, cannot register new users

I’m having an issue. I intuit (but am not sure) that it’s related to switching Multiblog to Yes; and then to No; and somehow losing the ability to post to activity.

I also cannot register new users. Nor does the buddypress register any of the already existing people in the database as users.

Something is amiss.

I deleted and re-installed buddypress. Still an issue. Trying to feel it out. Something …yeah, not sure.

Any ideas?

Not multiblog that I can see – I have installed twice and still missing “Register” and “Activate” pages. All help displays settings I can’t see. Irony is I have a constant spammers registering as WP users, but I can’t find a way. I have Woocommerce and “Canvas” theme active, but have deactivated both with no change in outcome.
