membership / user levels and restrict use of plugin

    Hi,

    It is possible to restrict usage of a plugin to a certain user-level?

    and 2nd: there are many membership plugins, but which one allows me to restrict usage of a plugin?

    in for example drupal, it is possible to allow usage of plugins only by certain user-roles. I am hoping the same is possible with BP.

    Did anyone give it a try to program an extensive role / membership based API for BP? Perhaps this should be a BP core ‘thingy’.

    Its a bit frustrating now that once a plugin is installed and made available, it is available for all registered users, unless the plugin comes with its own way to restrict its usage.
