@mention in wordpress post comment

will need a plugin – see the function bp_activity_at_message_notification how it is done now. Good idea for future enhancement. As I can’t move this post to the ideas forum, could I ask you please @intimez to post this on https://trac.buddypress.org/ with your username + password from this site as a future enhancement suggestion? Thanks I thought I forgot to enable it in the configuration somewhere. Thanks for confirming. I will add it to the trac. For reference: https://trac.buddypress.org/ticket/2372 With some people leaving replies in comments and others replying in activity/updates, this fragments the community discussion. For me, I prefer have discussion in post since relates to topic. Any coders would like to help? Hi All, Does anyone know if you (as an admin) can tag a post with an @mention that will automatically mention all users, instead of having to mention each one individually? Thanks Jonathan No, nothing like that. Adding in the link too that would rock like it does in forums / streams. @djpaul Do you know if there is any more news on this? Looks like the tracker was reopened about a year ago. It would be great to add notifications for @mentions in blog posts as well. Disappointed to find out that this has not happened yet since it connects the blog side with the community so it become seemless. @intimez Definitely a disappointment. Do you know of any plugins to accomplish this? I was unable to find any. Or is anyone interested in a making a plugin for this? I did find this one: Tagged User Notification It seems to be working so far.

If a person is @mention on the buddypress side, it will send an email notification if enabled.
This does not happen when leaving a comment on a wordpress post.
Is there any way to tie it to the buddypress system or even have a wordpress post recognize it as a buddypress command?
