Mixed content warnings

    My site is configured for https, and I’ve managed to isolate and address all sources of mixed content traffic through content and the various plugins on my site, except for 2 things.
    1- blog category pages (index.php should be the default page template according to the template heirarchy rules in the WordPress Codex, but I checked and it’s NOT the problem. The source of the mixed content warning is the Facebook ‘like’ button which I’ve fixed elsewhere in my site, but I can’t find the source on category pages.

    2- search results pages. The pages themselves have been corrected. But the page summaries that come up as a result of searches trigger mixed content warnings

    I suspect the same template is being used in each of the above instances, but I’ve gone through and edited all the templates I have and can’t quite figure this out. Any ideas?

    Thanks

    WP/BP versions? What theme are you using? Different strokes for different themes :-)

    WP v 3.3.1
    BP v 1.5.4
    The theme is bp-corporate, but those pages have to be using some template, but I’ll be darned if I can figure out what. :P

    Thanks

    I can only speak for the bp-default theme:

    – default blog pages == index.php https://buddypress.trac.wordpress.org/browser/tags/1.5.5/bp-themes/bp-default/index.php
    BP Corporate might just have a home.php page which trumps the index.php page per template hierarchy

    – search results page == search.php https://buddypress.trac.wordpress.org/browser/tags/1.5.5/bp-themes/bp-default/search.php

    If the errors are caused by any gravatar URLs or default profile avatar image URL, I fixed those a few weeks ago for the next version (1.6).

    @mercime– thanks, I’ll double check those resources. This is really baffling.

    @ Paul- as far as I can tell, the issue doesn’t reside with the gravatars. How close is v 1.6 to release? I recall you mentioning that bbpress 2.0 was going to be integrated with it with fully functioning sitewide forums with that version, correct? In 1.5.4 I could only ever get group forums to work in BuddyPress- sitewide wouldn’t work so I’ve had to shut down the BuddyPress forums pages and am using bbpress as a standalone plugin.
