Multi-site Install resulting in random blog link when I click a user name?

    So this is weird.

I have bbPress running in a multisite install. I am trying to enable BuddyPress just so my users can have private messaging. However when I turn the plug in on, if you click a user’s name (which is supposed to link to their profile pages), instead the link now redirects to a random blog page on the parent blog of the multi-site. (bbPress is running on a daughter blog).

I’m disabling BuddyPress for now – can anyone help me figure this out?

    Thanks,
    Zach

Is this a scenario where I need to define bbPress as running within a given multi-site blog, perhaps?

If so, how do I determine which $blog_id number applies to the daughter blog in order to set that variable?

    Thanks,
    Zach
