Multiple Email Addresses Per Username? Or Something Else?

    Hello,

    Is there any way to have multiple email addresses per username? I know that the opposite exists.

    I am creating an online memorial website. Simply I want to allow someone to create a profile for a loved one who passed away. And then the person who created the profile can add other family members or friends access to the lost loved one’s profile. Profiles would not be open to the public.

    The multiple email addresses per username seems to be the easiest way to accomplish this. Are there other options? I am trying to learn PHP but I obviously have a long way to go.

    You could have the login form use username/password. That way, there is no need for multiple email addresses. The username and password could then be handed out to trusted people.

    Thanks for the thought and response @Henry.

    That’s definitely doable and might have to be. Can you think of any other ways? Reason why I ask is because I think the following are important: #1 to have true understanding of the real number of users. #2 to be able to communicate effectively to each user.

    If I have all of the email addresses, than I have both of these. Maybe not the best way, but at least it could work (if it is doable?).
