multisite registration problems

whenever someone registers to my multisite website they get an email with a verification link (all good) when they click on the link they get a second email with their login details.
The problem is the email gives the customer their username but the password just says:- password[user set].
So the email they get says for example
Username: Dubwarrior
Password: [user set]I want people to have a record of their email and not have to reset their password if they forget
