Multisite & Theme Error after updating BuddyPress

Receiving the following error when attempting to go to any other page other than the home page. I should say any page associated with BuddyPress.
Fatal error: Cannot access empty property in /home/premfina/public_html/social/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-core/bp-core-template.php on line 780
I had BuddyPress installed prior to having Multi-Site enabled as I thought that BuddyPress would have an individual article section for each member however I realized that using Multi-Site may be a better approach… So I then enabled MultiSite found my way to the update BuddyPress section of the administrator panel and all went well.
Then I attempted to go to the front-end and could not seem to get to any page related to BuddyPress. I have not done anything theme wise besides switch out the header image and replace the background image of the default BuddyPress template.
