my buddypress site takes 20.53 sec to just accept a frnd request …..(toooo slow)

    hii, im using buddypress , in my machine (local host, the site is not live yet ) webserver is iis express…8 plugins are activated , 7 themes are installed and 1 is activated called bp columns ….my problem is the entire site is slow , wheather to send msg or browse my frnds profile or even just accepting the frnds request i had misprinted the time in my last post but this time i has the correct time it takes to do almost most of the stuff on my site …”the time it takes is = 20.53 secs) which is quite a large time taken to just browse the profile and even to accept the frnd request ..now the question is how to reduced the time and increased the browsing performance ….should i have to use caching software plz help ?

    activate BP default theme disable all plugins except BP if you are still experiencing slow times then it’s your server that is the problem and that we can’t really advise on.

    @hnla…it works ..now it is super fast ….so i wonder the theme was creating problem is this so ?

    try the process in reverse to find out what the cause is, activate the theme but no plugins and see how the site performs, if still ok activate plugins one by one checking each time to see how the site runs.
