Buddy press is good, however, I strongly suggest there be an easy way to control tabs when creating groups. Now, it is very difficult for me to control tab orderings, and defaults. For example, what if I wanted to change the name of a tab, or exclude a tab, or put forum as the first tab, and make it the default. I should be able to do that through some kind of front end admin interface.

Also, i wish there was a way to control inserting custom images for topics rather than having the creator avatar show each time they create a topic.

I feel that a creator should be able to specify a custom image for each topic, just like they can specify a custom image for a group.

Also, forgive me if this already exists, but it would be nice if out of the box, you can inivite people to a forum via email, where you can specify their email address and the group name, and it will provide a registration link to those email addresses. Of course, it will not send emails to those email addresses already registered, if they were included by accident.
