Name field on registration

    I have extended profiles enabled. I am using the Name field in the registration profile. During registration if a user completes the Name field it is not save to the wordpress user profile. However signing in as the user and saving their profile WILL write their Name to the wordpress user profile. Is this a bug or a feature? How can I fix it?
