Need Buddypress Code to display info on outside site

    I have an install of buddypress in directory #2 but a frontend non-member page in directory #1 neither one is directly connected together so I need a method for grabbing the total number of members and displaying it elsewhere. Both directories are using wordpress. Only one has buddypress.

    So there are 2 different databases, yes?

    How time sensitive is the data?
    For example, if you only need it every 24 hours, I would set up a wp-cron job on the BP site and write the total members value to a file.
    Then call that file value into the non-BP site.

    I like that idea, it could be updated that way. I’d like it if it could be more “live” but this might work to start.
