Need help disabling settings page and adding it to a popup instead

Hi I am needing help.By defualt my profile settings page appear on the profile page and it just looks odd with my design. Im am wondering if there way to disable buddpress.
settings/messages and notifcations pages and then echo the loops/forms into a popup div which can be inserted into the header or wherever instead. I would prefer this method a lot more because it would allow me to style the elements to look how I want.
Any help or idea on how to do this would be so good and would also probabaly help lots other people too. Thank you!
