BuddyPress.org

Hallo all,

I’m new in using WordPress and Buddypress but im pretty suprised how easy and simple the handling is.
Is installed the Buddypress Plugin and have some problems with it.
When I activate Buddypress and all its features like Groups, Activity and Extended Profiles, there appear links on the Frontpage und the Dropdown on the upper right where I am able to edit my Profile and so on. So if those are activated, it ends everytime in an 404 error, saying: The requested URL /wordpress/members/admin/profile/edit/ was not found on this server. I have wordpress installed in its own directory with .htaccess- and index.php copied in the root directory.

How can i solve that?

This would help my a lot in the first place, maybe I can do the other stuff by myself then.
