Need help making a special profile field

Hello, for the past few days i have been trying to figure out how to make a special profile field where people can enter an member id number and it will link their profile or achievement page in there profile. i have a link to a site currently using it but i can not figure how they are doing it.

if you look on the right side box where is says USBC ID: 2357-5558. in there profile options they have a place you can enter the prefix and suffix of the idea number and it links it in there profile directly to the main site. any help would be great.
