New Blog Post Featured Images

So, with site-wide activity tracking turned on in buddypress, new blog posts are reported in the activity stream along with the post’s featured image but the image is not clickable and a user must click the title to see the content. How can I make the images for new blog post click into the post for the activity stream. What file would that be?
