New Blog URL on multisite

  • Hi, I am having a bizarre issue after changing the multisite install from subdirectory to subdomain.

When a user is trying to create a new site from the buddypress registration page, the URL displayed is: ‘ _____________.http://networkurl.com’ the “___” represents an input text field.
the issue that I have been able to pinpoint is that the `bp_blogs_get_subdomain_base()` also returns the http:// part. I am pretty sure buddypress is aware that the multisite install is in subdomain mode since it displays the . after the input box.

I am unable to just deactivate the plugin, drop all tables and reactivate since I already have content and sites active that were created through buddypress.

When creating a new site as a logged in user through: /sites/create/ , the base url displays correctly and the input section looks like : “__________ .mysite.com”.

Please let me know what I can try to fix this problem.

    Thank You,
    Adrian
