I’m making a custom theme with the forum on the main page. I copied the code from the forum page and it displays topics correctly and the new topic button seems to function but when I submit the form, nothing happens, no error messages and no new topics in the database. Is there something I have to do somewhere else to make this work? Thanks.

I’m not changing any labels or messages. I just want to take the existing new post form and move it to the main page.
