New Install… forum not working

I have installed BuddyPress and used the forum setup provided within the plugin BUT no forum or forum options are appearing anywhere. Shouldn’t there be some forum options and the like?
This site in questions is http://www.wvk9sar.org/newsite however the BP part is for members only using the S2Member plugin. I have SimplePress currently installed as I was testing it before finding BuddyPress.
