New to BP and need advice

    HI – I am new to BP. I am redesigning a website that is currently on WP and using Simple Machine Forum. We have hundreds of users/bloggers and I figured making the move to BP would be the best thing for us. I am at a crossroads as to how to best utilize BP for our needs. Is there someone I could speak to directly, like a BP expert or consultant about my project? I am currently using a theme that I think will be great for our group, but I don’t know enough about BP to organize the content.

    Note that BP installs usually use bbPress for forums.
    Integrating BP and Simple Machine Forum may not be easy or even possible.

    The best approach is to clone your site as a dev site and try things out.
