When a new user is sent an email request from BP 1.1.1 to join they receive only the following:

Hi,

You’ve been invited to join ‘MacIntosh Farms’ at

http://net4us.us as a subscriber.

If you do not want to join this blog please ignore

this email. This invitation will expire in a few days.

Please click the folowing link to activate your user account:

%s

This happened 2x with different users. What did I do wrong, please.

I’m confused. They are sent an email to join when they fill out the registration form? If they are actually filling out the registration / sign-up form, then they should be sent a welcome message with their new account details.

Jeff,

The user receives the correct email without a directing URL, email address, or password–just the 2 characters —%s—-instead.

Another side of what may be the same problem is that new users (from cookie free browsers) who visit the site are not offered a “sign up” option—just “log in”.
