no bp-core.php?

Im isntalling Toksta plugin for chat.. there is no bp-core.php where it looks in mu-plugins to find this.

Its getting really confusing, does anyone know why it cant find a php file bp-core.php or is it because of the new release this doesnt exist anymore?

The core Buddypress files do not live in /mu-plugins/ anymore. They should be in /plugins/ instead. If the location of BuddyPress is hardcoded into the Toksta chat plugin, then that is the problem.

Contact the Toksta chat developers and ask them to update their plugin to the proper path–and not via a hardcoded path.

I guess I’ll have to give up with it as I cant get it to work, I know that it does create a chat bar along the bottom just like on facebook but have no idea how to do it

As I suggested, contact the developers of Toksta Chat and tell them about the error.

Its the Toksta chat plugin, I would know how to recode it and call for the right functions, but one problem is all the names have changed and there is no such file as bp-core.php now…

Anyone know what its been changed to?

Sounds like the plugin has not been updated for 1.0.
