I noticed John disabled comments for the latest post, the 1.2.8 release announcement. Is there any particular reasoning behind this?
It wouldn’t have been that odd if it wasn’t for the fact that every post before it enables comments, unlike the wordpress.org blog for instance where posts comments are also disabled.
