No text editor in Activity box

    @markorton93 BuddyPress Post activity section is plain input area without any text editor.

    Hmmm…. I am new to BP but an active user of WP for many years. is there a way to provide a rich text editor in the post activity field??

    Thanks. I noted that old thread.

    I was hoping for something more along the lines of a plugin solution. It seems very odd to me that at this point in time that BP would only offer a plain text entry solution. I can’t think of any software, excepting some dreadful stuff in the healthcare sector here in the US, that does not provide some editing tools. I am trying to find a social platform that my family and friends can use to leave Facebook, Twitter, and all of that commercial exploitative stuff behind.
