Nothing visible on Site

    Hi,

    I am very new to Buddy Press. The registration page is working okay and when I log in, I am able to see profile, messages, edit profile, log out. etc. I am also able to post an activity (as an admin, I even approved it). However, groups, members and activities do not appear on the site at all. As an admin, I created a group but that is not visible despite the privacy setting set to Public. Can anyone please help me? The pages for Activity, Members and Groups are there on the site but they appear blank and a visitor cannot see any activity or group.

    Another thing I want to add is that the checkbox for ‘discouraging index of the site on search engines is unchecked because I want the site to be indexed by search engines.

    Thanks

    @shanebp

    Did you assign the components to those pages?

    Configure BuddyPress

    Hi, thanks. I have already done the configuration as that is how I am able to get the registration page, etc. However, the activity, groups do not appear on my site at all. As the admin, I created a group but I see that group in my profile group area only. If a user were to visit the site, he would not see anything on the group page. Ditto for activity. Why are these not appearing?

    Perhaps it is a theme issue?
    To confirm, switch momentarily to a WP theme, like 2020.

    It is working now. It seems it was an issue with Permalinks. I changed the format and now it seems to be working.
