    Hey BuddyPress team!

This is Dylan from The WP Valet and I think we’ve found quiet a strange bug on our client’s site.

I’ll cover how to replicate the bug, then provide all the debug information.

    • Create a topic with a title of “Notifications” (this also works with “Notifications X Y Z…)
    • Visit the BuddyPress toolbar and choose Notifications -> Unread
    • This should bring you to your topic created instead of your actual unread notifications.

We noticed this was happening when there were two separate slugs that started with /notifications-x-y-z

After deleting the first /notifications, the second /notifications-x-y-z topic would start showing up when visiting unread notifications.

On to the debug information. 🙂

I believe we found the issue.

The latest version of WLM (v2.90.2860) was causing this.

Reverting WLM to v2.90.2828 fixed this issue for now.

Glad you found the problem – the latest WLM has caused all kinds of issues re BP.

Tested an Alpha version of WLM v2.90.2862 and everything looks good so far.

I wanted to add this just in case someone has a similar issue – a fix is coming. 🙂

    Kind regards,

    Dylan

Hey Dylan…no, what I meant was I do not have that plugin but I am experiencing the same issues. The only plugin that I have from this list is SEO Yoast.
