    I’ve seen a lot about the need for openID about a year ago. Did it ever get potted for buddypress? If not buddypress isn’t really web 2.0 is it?

    And what pray is Web 2.0 ? :)

    Remember that the phrase ‘Web 2.0’ was coined as a joke, a satirical dig if you will; what was the bigger joke though was the number of people that thought it ‘A real thing’ and began using it as a buzz word.

    As for OpenID it’s a good idea but don’t know if they’re any plans for it.

    I’m guessing that if you can login with your facebook account, you can also login with openID.
    Perhaps you can rewrite the plugin?

    Note: This plugin probably doesnt work with the latest and greatest WordPress 3.x and Buddypress 1.2.5.x
