    I’d wondering, did anyone try with PHP HipHop?

    I’m trying now facing some trouble around dynamic functions and casting.

    Anyways, it would be a long drive for me, so will keep this forum up about my finding. With initial WordPress config, it is amazing, running behind Nginx Reverse Proxy, PHP HipHop (APC is embedded) + WP Total Cache + AWS CDN + MYSQL + MemCache.

    WP (3000+ junk blog posts and other metadata), amazingly getting 25 req. per sec with in 1 sec response time. 7-10X faster on most of senario, now seriously thinking to convert everything to that.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Not aware of anyone running BuddyPress on Facebook’s HipHop. Let us know if there’s anything specific that’s an actual bug in BuddyPress.

    My team is working on scaling BuddyPress to serve 1 Million+ users on a single installation. We’d be very interested in hearing about your experiences with performance optimization.
